To Coaches, Parents and Players: Players should arrive for games at least 15 minutes before the start of the game. Shin guards are required for all games and practices. No football or metal cleats are allowed! It is recommended that players bring water bottles to the games.
RYSA water bottles can be purchased at the concession stand.
All jewelry must be removed before games including earrings, necklaces, "hard" barrettes, etc. Players requiring eyeglasses are strongly encouraged to purchase sports glasses (glasses with protective plastic lenses). Wearing a wire rim glasses or those with glass lenses is particularyly discouraged. It is the tradition of soccer that games are played in inclement weather. When in doubt, call our info line at 963-2936. All children will play in every game regardless of skill level. The amount of playing time for each child on a team should be roughly equal during the season. However, playing time may be influenced by regular attendance at practices or other factors as determined by the coach. Please keep in mind that referees, coaches and league administrators are volunteers and should be applauded for their efforts. Please note that if games are cancelled by RYSA Directors due to inclement weather, they will be rescheduled to be played on a Saturday in November. The season will not extend beyond mid-November. If it rains on the "make-up" game day, there will be no rescheduling of the games. If there are two or more rainouts, only the first will be made up.
